Our Mission
At Hunter College Consulting, we are dedicated to providing personalized guidance throughout the college search and application process. Our mission is to ensure that students and families experience a stress-free journey towards higher education.
Our Founder
Having worked with high school students for nearly a decade, Emily Hunter understands not only the changing landscape of college admissions but also the social-emotional needs of high school students and the complex issues facing them today. Her goal is to integrate individual needs and family input into the college admissions process, while also streamlining the often stressful and intimidating journey. Emily sees the college admissions process as a time for incredible personal growth for each student, as they reflect on their high school path towards higher education and, eventually, career and personal success. She believes the process can be not only meaningful, but also fun!
Emily holds a B.A. in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley, with minors in Music and Art History, a J.D. from UCLA School of Law, a M.A.T. in Elementary Education from University of Northern Colorado, and a Certificate in College Admissions Consulting from UC Berkeley Extension. She is a mom to two current college students, who chose to attend schools on opposite coasts, of course.

We offer in-person meetings in the Denver metro area, as well as online meetings for students and families across the country.
